Abstract:
We report spectroscopic classification of AT 2021lwa as a SN Ia.

YSE, the Young Supernova Experiment, reports the following supernova classification.  The target was supplied by ANTARES using the ZTF data stream. Observations were performed on the Kast spectrograph on the Lick Shane telescope on the night of 05/10/2021. Classifications were performed using SNID (Blondin & Tonry 2007  2007ApJ...666.1024B). We estimate a phase of +3 days and a Si II velocity of -9,700 km/s.
