Spectroscopic Classification of Transients with SOAR

Abstract:
We report the classification of 1 optical transient using the SOAR Goodman spectrograph: 1 type Ia supernova.

We report the following classification of one supernova, 2021agef. Observations were performed with Goodman High Throughput Spectrograph on the Southern Astrophysical Research (SOAR) Telescope. Observations were conducted on Dec. 10. We are grateful to the SOAR observers who carried out these observations.   

Spectral classifications were performed using SNID (Blondin & Tonry 2007 2007ApJ...666.1024B).
