Abstract:
A Keck DEIMOS spectrum was taken on 2022-06-08. A clear H-alpha emission at z=0 is identified, which suggests AT2022lnd is a galactic CV.

AT2022lnd was identified as a fast-evolving transient based on its light curve evolution (M. Fulton et al. 2022, AstroNote 2022-121). Our followup spectrum taken with Keck DEIMOS (3x740s exposure) on 2022-06-08 shows a clear double-peaked H-alpha emission at z=0, suggessting a galactic CV origin for AT2022lnd.
