The Asiago Transient Classification Program (Tomasella et al. 2014, AN, 335, 841) reports the spectroscopic observation of AT2022mbc in CGCG 352-013 (z=0.017582, Falco et al. 1999, PASP 111 via NED), and AT2022myz in NGC 4217 (z=0.003429, Springob et al. 2005, ApJS 160 via NED).
Targets were supplied by the Zwicky Transient Facility, ZTF (Bellm et al. 2019) through ALERCE Broker (Forster et al. 2021), and ATLAS (Tonry et al. 2018) surveys.
The observations were obtained with the Asiago 1.82m Copernico Telescope (+ AFOSC; range 340-820 nm; resolution 1.4 nm).
AT2022mbc: the spectrum shows that this is a Type Ic SN a couple of weeks after maximum.
AT2022myz: the noisy spectrum shows a red continuum; assuming a high reddening (E(B-V) ~ 1 mag), GELATO returns good matches with several Type I SNe around maximum (according to ATLAS light curve).
The classifications were performed using the GELATO (Harutyunyan et al. 2008, A&A, 488, 383) and SNID (Blondin and Tonry 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024) tools.
The Asiago classification spectra are posted at the website http://sngroup.oapd.inaf.it and the IAU Transient Name Server.
The classified objects are listed in the Related Objects table below.
