Abstract:
We report the spectroscopic classification of AT2022abq in NGC5117

The Asiago Transient Classification Program (Tomasella et al. 2014, AN, 335, 841) reports the spectroscopic observation of AT2022abq in NGC 5117 (z=0.007979 +/- 0.000005, Springob et al. 2005, ApJS 160, via NED)  discovered by F. Cappiello and S. Massaro (RTSG, Robotic Telescope Searching Group, Italy).

The observation was  obtained with the Asiago 1.22m Galileo Telescope (+ B&C; range 360-790 nm; resolution 0.8 nm). Five spectra of 1800sec each were taken and combined.

The low S/N combined spectrum of AT2022abq is consistend with and early Type II SN.

The classification was performed using the GELATO (Harutyunyan et al. 2008, A&A, 488, 383) and SNID (Blondin and Tonry 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024) tools.
