Host Extinction of SN2023ixf
Authors: Michael Lundquist, John O'Meara, Josh Walawender (W. M. Keck Observatory)
Abstract:
Using data taken with the Keck Planet Finder spectrograph we calculate a host E(B-V) extinction of 0.031±0.006.

Using data taken with the Keck Planet Finder spectrograph (KPF; Gibson et al. 2016) on 2023-05-26 11:43:18 UTC we measure the equivalent widths of Na I D1 and D2 to be 0.118 Å and 0.169 Å, respectively. Using the Poznanski et al. (2012) relation, we calculate a host E(B-V) extinction of 0.031±0.006.
