Abstract:
We report the results of Swift X-ray observations of AT2023jxk.

We observed AT2023jxk (Vail et al., AstroNote 2023-167) a hostless, fast-evolving red transient, with Swift/XRT beginning at 00:00 on 2023-06-08 UT (2.8 days after the first ZTF detection). Visual inspection of the 3.45 ks exposure image shows no clear detection of X-ray emission. Using the online Swift tools [1] we measure a 3-sigma upper limit of 0.003 counts/sec. Using WebPiMMS [2] we estimate that this corresponds to an upper limit on the unabsorbed 0.3-10 keV flux of f_X < 1.0E-13 ergs/cm2/s.

We thank the Swift staff for rapidly approving and scheduling our observations.
