Abstract:
This report includes classification of two normal SN Ia, one SN Ic, one CV and one SN of uncertain class. SN 2023pmv is heavily reddened SN Ia around peak light. SN 2023oxc displays a blue featureless continuum with only narrow-lines at the redshift of its host despite being at least 10 days old. Follow-up observations are encouraged.

GOTO-FAST (AstroNote 2023-224) reports the classifications of the following optical transients. The observations were obtained on the Isaac Newton Telescope (INT) on the nights of 2023 Aug 14-15 using the IDS spectrograph with R150V grating (3950-7900 Å, R ~600). The transients were classified using SNID (Blondin & Tonry 2007) and GELATO (Harutyunyan et al. 2008).

Targets were supplied by the Gravitational-wave Optical Transient Observer GOTO (Steeghs et al. 2022) , ATLAS survey (Smith et al. 2020), the Zwicky Transient Facility ZTF (Bellm et al. 2019) - data stream processed through the Lasair broker (Smith, Williams, Young et al. 2019) and by the ALeRCE broker (Forster et al. 2020)

The classified objects are listed below in the Related Objects Table.

TNS 2023oxc [GOTO23uh] 16:04:31.468 +36:19:00.62 SN 0.0434 Transient is at least 10 days post explosion and retains a featureless, blue continuum, with no broad features. Spectrum does not allow for unambiguously separating Balmer line origins from host galaxy. Potentially interaction-driven or giant eruption. 16:04:31.469 +36:19:00.59 SN II 0.04338783
