The Asiago Transient Classification Program (Tomasella et al. 2014, AN, 335, 841) reports the spectroscopic observation of three SNe, AT2023bmn (ATLAS23bvo) in WISEA J075951.97+242752.8, AT2023bmp (ALTAS23bvu) in WISEA J035038.05+135434.6 and AT2023bmo (ATLAS23bvs) in UGC06583.
Targets were supplied by the the ATLAS survey (Tonry et al. 2018).
The observations were obtained with the Asiago 1.82m Copernico Telescope (+ AFOSC; range 340-820 nm; resolution 1.4 nm).
AT2023bmn: the spectrum is that of a Type Ia SN a week before maximum (host galaxy redshift z=0.057256 from SDSS)
AT2023bmp: the spectrum is that of a Type Ia SN at maximum (host galaxy redshift z=0.032 from NED)
AT2023bmo: the spectrum shows a featureless blue continuum reminiscent of SNII shortly after explosion (host galaxy redshift z=0.02065, Springob,C.M et al. 2005 via NED)
The classifications were performed using the GELATO (Harutyunyan et al. 2008, A&A, 488, 383) and SNID (Blondin and Tonry 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024) tools.
The Asiago classification spectra are posted at the website http://sngroup.oapd.inaf.it and the IAU Transient Name Server.
The classified objects are listed in the Related Objects table below.
