Abstract:
We report the detection of 10 GHz radio emission coincident with the luminous fast blue optical transient AT2023vth at z=0.0747.

On UT 2023 November 17 the Very Large Array (VLA) observed the position of AT2023vth, a luminous fast blue optical transient at z=0.0747 (AstroNote #2023-114, AstroNote #2023-305). The X-band image RMS was 5 uJy in 33 minutes of on-source time.

A point source was detected at the position of AT2023vth with a flux density of 145 uJy in X-band (10 GHz), corresponding to a luminosity of 2E28 erg/s/Hz at 36 days post-discovery. This is similar to the radio luminosity of AT2018cow at a similar frequency and epoch (Margutti et al. 2019, ApJ, 872, 18).

Further radio observations are planned. We thank the VLA staff for rapidly scheduling and executing these observations.
