Abstract:
MeerLICHT detection of a possible young supernova at q_AB = 19.51 in SDSS J121935.03+052048.5 at z=0.07491

The MeerLICHT wide-field survey telescope detected AT2023dwb, a possible young supernova at q_AB = 19.51 in the galaxy SDSS J121935.03+052048.5 at z=0.07491 on March 22, 00:46 UT. The object was not present on the last MeerLICHT observation on the same field on March 17, 02:19 UT.

MeerLICHT is built and run by a consortium consisting of Radboud
University, University of Cape Town, the South African Astronomical
Observatory, the University of Oxford, the University of Manchester and
the University of Amsterdam.
