Follow-up observations of Type Icn SN 2023emq: transition to a Type Ibn SN

Abstract:
We report a spectral transition of SN 2023emq from a Type Icn SN into a Type Ibn SN

We report that a spectrum of SN 2023emq obtained with ALFOSC spectrograph mounted on the Nordic Optical Telescope (NOT) approximately one week after peak brightness (UT 2023-04-14 01:09:49) is dominated by narrow HeI emission features over a blue continuum. The spectrum closely resembles those of Type Ibn SNe at a similar phase (comparison attached).  Based on the emission lines the redshift is ~0.035. Follow-up observations are encouraged.
