Abstract:
This report includes classifications of 4 Type Ia's, 1 Type II, 1 Type Ic, and one unclear red transient (SN 2024ixo). Follow-up observations, in particular of SN 2024ixo, are encouraged.

ePESSTO+, the advanced Public ESO Spectroscopic Survey for Transient Objects (Smartt et al. 2015 2015A&A...579A..40S), reports the following supernova classifications.

Targets were supplied by the ATLAS survey (Smith et al. 2020 2020PASP..132h5002S), the Zwicky Transient Facility ZTF (Bellm et al. 2019 2019PASP..131a8002B) - data stream processed through the Lasair broker (Smith, Williams, Young et al. 2019 2019RNAAS...3...26S) and by the ALeRCE broker (Forster et al. 2020 2021AJ....161..242F), and the Gravitational-wave Optical Transient Observer GOTO (Steeghs et al. 2022 2022MNRAS.511.2405S).

Observations were performed on the ESO New Technology Telescope (NTT) at La Silla on the night of 2024 June 28, using EFOSC2 and Grism 13 (3985-9315A, 18A resolution) and 11 (3380-7520, 13.8A resolution). Classifications were done using GELATO (Harutyunyan et al. 2008 2008A&A...488..383H).

The classification spectra and additional details can be obtained from http://www.pessto.org (via WISeREP) and the IAU Transient Name Server.

The classified objects are listed in the Related Objects table below.

The transient is closely associated with a faint host galaxy (photo-z = 0.2) but offset from its center, making it a likely supernova. The transient is at least 40 days old based on the ZTF light curve. 21:52:30.690 +02:14:01.18 SLSN-II 0.22
