We observed the field of the TDE AT2024AS (TNS report 198517) with the Arcminute Microkelvin Imager - Large Array (AMI-LA) for 4 hours on the 2024-11-01, with a central frequency of 15.5 GHz. A point source is detected in the AMI-LA image at RA 10:05:06.14 DEC +17:29:20.81 consistent with the reported position of AT2024AS. The source is detected at a flux density of 0.652 +/- 0.07 mJy. In similar observations conducted in March and February 2024, the source was not detected.
We plan to perform follow-up observations with the AMI-LA and encourage further high-cadence multi-frequency radio observations with other facilities.
We thank the staff of MRAO for scheduling and performing this observation.
