The Asiago Transient Classification Program (Tomasella et al. 2014, AN, 335, 841) reports the spectroscopic observations of AT2024csl as a Type Ia-91T like SN obtained with the Asiago 1.82m Copernico Telescope (+ AFOSC; range 340-820 nm; resolution 1.4 nm).
The observations were secured exploiting the new fully robotic telescope operation mode (RoboCop project supported by Techno Grant INAF 2022) currently in phase of commissioning.
The spectrum of AT2024csl resembles that of SNe Ia-91T like few days before maximum light. GELATO finds very good matches with SN1998es at -2.5d and also with SN 1999ac at a similar phase.
A redshift z ~ 0.071 is derived from the template matching, in accordance with z = 0.070945 reported by the Sloan Digital Sky Survey DR13 (2017) via NED.
The classification was performed using the GELATO (Harutyunyan et al. 2008, A&A, 488, 383) and Next Generation SuperFit (2005ApJ...634.1190H, 2022TNSAN.191....1G) tools.
The Asiago classification spectra are posted at the website http://sngroup.oapd.inaf.it and the IAU Transient Name Server.
