WFST250715cmaa (AT 2025sbr) was discovered by the 2.5-m Wide Field Survey Telescope (WFST; Wang, T., et al., 2023, SCPMA, 6609512) on July 15, 2025 (MJD: 60871.66) with g ~ 22.50 ± 0.05 mag. The object was not discovered by WFST on July 13, 2025 (MJD: 60869.70) with a 5-sigma g-band limiting mag of 23.09 mag. The brightness of WFST250715cmaa was increased by 1.3 mag in g band and reached the peak of 21.2 mag (~ -0.3 mag/day) and declined by 0.5 mag since then (~ 0.1 mag/day). A possible faint host of WFST250715cmaa was found at the same position from PS1 i-band data (Chambers, K.C., et al. 2016; Flewelling, H. A., et al. 2016).
Given the fast evolution of the transient, prompt spectroscopic identifications are highly encouraged.
This report is based on observations obtained with the 2.5-m Wide Field Survey Telescope (WFST) at Mt. Saishiteng, Lenghu, China. The WFST science products have been made possible through the contributions of the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) and the Purple Mountain Observatory (PMO).
