Abstract:
The Caltech Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) program reports the classification of an optical transient using P200 NGPS: 1 type Ia supernova.

The Caltech Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) program reports the following classifications of supernovae. Observations were performed with the Next Generation Palomar Spectrograph (NGPS) on the Hale 200in Telescope at Palomar Observatory. Observations were conducted on August 3. We are grateful to the Palomar operators who helped with these observations.
