We classified the nuclear transient AT 2025aarm (discovered by GOTO; O'Neill et al. 2025, TNS Discovery Report 4156), motivated by its rising light curve in the BlackGEM survey (Groot et al. 2024, PASP, 136, 115003), with the Floyds spectrograph on the 2-m Faulkes Telescope North in Haleakala, Hawaii, on 2025-10-29 10:26 UT. The spectrum, which we make publicly available on the TNS, shows a blue continuum with broad He II 4686A and broad H-alpha emission, classifying the source as a H+He TDE. The spectrum also displays narrow Balmer and Na I D absorption lines at a redshift of ~0.0135, consistent with the host redshift of 0.01368 (Huchra et al. 2012 ApJS, 199, 26) retrieved via NED. This makes TDE 2025aarm one of the nearest TDEs discovered. Multi-wavelength followup is encouraged.
