Spectroscopic classification of a supernova
Abstract:
This report includes a spectrum to support the previous classification of this transient by the DEBASS group. The object is spectroscopically consistent with young Type II SNe.
The observation was performed on the Nordic Optical telescope (NOT) at Roque de los Muchachos Observatory using grism#4 and 1.0'' slit.
The ATLAS survey (Smith et al. 2020 2020PASP..132h5002S) and the Zwicky Transient Facility ZTF (Bellm et al. 2019 2019PASP..131a8002B) supplied the targets.
SNID (Blondin & Tonry 2007 2007ApJ...666.1024B) was utilized in the classification process.
