Abstract:
We report a fast rising supernova candidate WFST0529iump (AT 2025dvo) discovered by the WFST deep high-cadence ugr-bands survey.

WFST0529iump (AT 2025dvo) was detected by the 2.5-m Wide Field Survey Telescope (WFST; Wang, T., et al., 2023, SCPMA, 6609512) deep high-cadence ugr-bands survey ("DHugr," Jiang, J.-a., et al. in prep). WFST0529iump was first detected on MJD 60733.700 at r = 22.0 ± 0.1 mag. The transient is offset by 1.4" from a galaxy (redshift z = 0.076 from SDSS). The brightness of WFST0529iump was increased by 2.5 mag (~-0.3 mag/day) in r-band since the discovery and g-r color of ~0.05mag on Mar 8, 2025 (MJD: 60742.661).

Given the fast brightening of the transient, follow-up observations are encouraged.

This report is based on observations obtained with the 2.5-m Wide Field Survey Telescope (WFST) at Mt. Saishiteng, Lenghu, China. The WFST science products have been made possible through the contributions of the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) and the Purple Mountain Observatory (PMO).
