Photometric Follow-up of SN 2026sqf with BHTOM.space Global Telescope Network

Abstract:
We report on the optical photometric follow-up of SN 2026sqf conducted with the BHTOM.space Global Telescope Network.

SN 2026sqfwas first discovered by Patrick Wiggins on July 8, 2026 (https://www.wis-tns.org/object/2026sqf/discovery-cert) using a 0.35-m refractor near Erda, Utah, USA. It was classified as a Type II supernova based on the presence of Hydrogen Balmer lines in the optical spectrum. The host galaxy is NGC 3310 at z = 0.00331, corresponding to a Hubble distance of = 14.7 Mpc (H₀ = 67.4 km/s/Mpc).

BHTOM follow-up began on the night of discovery, and follow-up observations are ongoing. The rising phase has been covered by the Seestar S50, the 60-cm Adıyaman telescope (Turkey), the 36-cm Andromeda Observatory (Belgium), the 60-cm Salerno Observatory telescope (Italy), and the 70-cm Planetarium Śląskie telescope (Poland), in the U, B, V, g, R, I bands. All photometry was transformed to the Gaia Synthetic Photometry (GaiaSP) system for internal consistency across the BHTOM network.
