Abstract:
We present Johnson-Cousins filter differential photometry and astrometry of the probable galactic nova 2026nmo obtained using the University of British Columbia (Thunderbird) Southern Observatory 0.5-m + CCD telescope on the night of of UT 2026 May 27.

Photometric (differential from secondary standard HD 126023) observations were obtained of optical transient 2026nmo on UT 2026 May 27.149. Our measurements yield the following magnitude and colours:

V = 15.98 (0.01)

B - V = -0.38 (0.03)

V - R = -0.04 (0.03)

astrometry from our images yield the following precise position:

14 23 56.58 -58 37 47.8 (2000)
