TNS Classification Report No. 3623 [ 2019TNSCR.344....1T ]
Date Received (UTC): 2019-03-07 23:04:12 Sender: Michael Tucker
Group: SCAT
M A Tucker, A V Payne, A Do, M E Huber, B J Shappee (IfA UH Manoa) report/s a classification of object: SN 2019agl
Type: SN IaRedshift: 0.081
Remarks: Significant host galaxy contamination. Identification of weak SiII confirms the SN Ia classification, and SNID finds matches to a mixture of Ia-norm and Ia-91T templates. The poor quality of our spectrum prevents distinguishing between the two subtypes.
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2019-03-03 12:03:27
Instrument: SNIFS
Telescope: UH 88inch
Remarks: Reduced with a summit quick-reduction pipeline, care should be taken before re-using this data for further studies.
