Rodney (Univ. of South Carolina), J. Roberts-Pierel (Univ. of South Carolina), A. Bolton (NOAO), S. Chakrabarti (RIT), and B. Lewis (RIT) None SN Ia 0.072 1 We observed SN2019duj with the ACAM imager/spectrograph of the William Herschel Telescope (WHT) on 2019-05-16 23:51:57. Comparison with several libraries of SN spectra using SNID (S. Blondin & J. L. Tonry 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024) shows that this is likely a normal type Ia SN at z = 0.072, different from the larger redshift, z=0.351, reported to TNS by Fremling et al. from P60 / SEDM observations close to the maximum of the light curve. The SNID-derived phase of the WHT ACAM SN spectrum is 18 days after maximum. Our reanalysis of the P60 / SEDM SN spectrum of Fremling et al. shows also a good match to the type Ia SN2004dt close to maximum at z=0.074. SN2019duj is likely associated with SDSS J132932.20+070018.2 (with an SDSS-based photoZ=0.131 ± 0.028). The SN is located at only 0.4" from the galaxy nucleus. There are several galaxies within a few arcmin of SN2019duj and its host galaxy, with SDSS spectroscopic redshifts of z=0.074 - 0.075, that are part of the galaxy cluster MSPM 2057 (Smith et al. 2012, MNRAS, 422, 25). Our estimate of the redshift of SN2019duj is consistent with the spectroscopic redshift of the MSPM 2057 galaxy cluster. 2019TNSCR2834....1P
