Jamison Burke, Daichi Hiramatsu, D. Andrew Howell, Curtis McCully, Estefania Padilla Gonzalez, Craig Pellegrino report/s a classification of object: SN 2020abjq
Type: SN IIRedshift: 0.018433
Remarks: The spectrum consists of a blue continuum with narrow flash features at the redshift of the host galaxy UGC 00678 (z = 0.018433; 2005ApJS..160..149S, value from NED). As such we classify this object as a young type II supernova within a few days of explosion. Further followup is encouraged.
