Kyle Davis (UCSC), Jessica Johnson (UCSC), Samaporn Tinyanont (UCSC), Ryan J. Foley (UCSC), Wynn Jacobson-Galan (UCB), Lindsay DeMarchi (Northwestern), Luca Izzo (Dark/NBI) report/s a classification of object: SN 2022ann

Type: SN Icn
Redshift: 0.049

Remarks: The spectrum has a blue continuum with superimposed C II and potentially C III P-Cygni features, similar to SN2019hgp (Gal-Yam et al., 2022, Nature, 601, 201). We measure a C II 6580 velocity of -670 km/s. Assuming z = 0.049 from the SN spectrum, the apparent host galaxy is low luminosity with M = -14.7 mag.
