Stefano Ciroi (UniPd), Andrea Pastorello (INAF-OAPd), Stefano Benetti (INAF-OAPd), Andrea Reguitti (Univ. Andres Bello), Giancarlo Cortini (Montemaggiore Observatory) report/s a classification of object: SN 2022bqi
Type: SN IIRedshift: 0.01464
Remarks: The spectrum is consistent with that of a young type II SN, few days after the explosion.
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2022-02-08 19:12:00
Instrument: AFOSC
Telescope: Asiago Ekar Telescope
Remarks: The spectrum shows a blue continuum and broad Halpha and He II 4686 A with PCygni profiles, typical of a young SN II. The redshift is taken from the Updated Zwicky Catalog, version of August 2000.
