Date Received (UTC): 2023-12-18 23:20:06 Sender: Claudio Balcon
Group: None
Claudio Balcon (Belluno A.O. ISSP) report/s a classification of object: SN 2023zop
Type: SN IIbRedshift: 0.02
Remarks: GELATO (Harutyunyan et al., 2008, A&A, 488, 383) and DASH (Muthukrishna et al., 2019, ApJ, 885, 85) suggest that this spectrum resembles that of type IIb supernova. The redshift has been deduced from the SN spectral fitting.
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2023-12-18 21:08:00
Instrument: FOSC-E5535
Telescope: Belluno Telescope
Remarks: We obtained the low-resolution spectrum using the FOSC-ES32 spectrograph attached to a 0.41m telescope, in the course of Italian Supernovae Search Project.
Details of the object and its spectra can be viewed here: https://www.wis-tns.org/object/2023zop
