Group: ZTF
Mansi M. Kasliwal report/s a classification of object: SN 2024aaqp
Type: SN IaRedshift: 0.045
Remarks: Spectrum was obtained with the Next Generation Palomar Spectrograph (NGPS) on the Palomar 200-in Hale Telescope during our first commissioning run. Analysis of the spectrum using NGSF (Astronote 2022-191, Howell et al. 2005) shows a good match to normal Ia SNe, including SN 2011by, SN 2011fe, roughly 2–5 days before peak brightness. See our accompanying AstroNote for details.
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2024-11-15 04:43:00
Instrument: Other
Telescope: Other
Remarks: NGPS is a new spectrograph on the Palomar 200-in.
