Date Received (UTC): 2024-01-22 18:50:02 Sender: Giacomo Terreran
Group: Global SN Project
Giacomo Terreran (LCO), Craig Pellegrino (UVA), D. Andrew Howell (LCO/UCSB), Curtis McCully (LCO), Megan Newsome (LCO/UCSB), Estefania Padilla Gonzalez (LCO/UCSB), Joseph Farah (LCO/UCSB) report/s a classification of object: SN 2024aej
Type: SN IbnRedshift: 0.066
Remarks: The spectrum appears to be blue and mainly featureless. We tentatively identify narrow lines of He 4472 and 5876 at a redshift of 0.066, consistent with a Ibn classification. We possibly identify also narrow C III 5047. At the inferred redshift, the object would have a current B-band absolute magnitude of -19.4mag.
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2024-01-22 06:44:27
