Panos Charalampopoulos report/s a classification of object: SN 2024led
Type: SN IaRedshift: 0.097
Remarks: We report the classification of AT2024led as a Ia supernova based on an optical spectrum obtained with the Nordic Optical Telescope on 2024-10-31 (i.e., MJD 60613.85). The transient is coincident with the nucleus of the host galaxy (SDSS spectroscopic redshift of 0.097). Comparison with a library of supernovae spectra using SNID (Blondin & Tonry 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024), suggests AT2024led is a pre-peak SN Ia (and potentially a SN Ia-91T-like).
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2024-10-30 20:27:49
Instrument: ALFOSC
Telescope: Nordic Optical Telescope
Details of the object and its spectra can be viewed here: https://www.wis-tns.org/object/2024led
