The redshift of z = 0.45 was determined the supernova features, with good matches to the SLSNe 2016ard and 2020znr a few days after peak. At this redshift the peak magnitude of the SN is M_r ~ -22.0, squarely in the SLSN regime. 2024TNSCR3273....1G
