Type: SN IIRedshift: 0.06034024
Remarks: We report the classification of AT 2024vdi as a Type II SN. The spectrum shows an almost featureless blue continuum with a broad hydrogen feature at the host redshift (2MASX J00280481-0012204: z = 0.06034024, d = 272.0 Mpc, value from NED). The spectrum peak is below our wavelength range (~3000 angstroms), indicating a temperature much greater than 10,000 K. Additional follow-up is encouraged.
