The supernova is closest to WISEA J024259.43+115730. Adopting the SNID best-fit redshift of z=0.053 we measure a Si II 6355 velocity of approximately 10,000 km/s. Adopting the distance modulus computed from this redshift (36.9), the g-band absolute magnitude of the object roughly coeval with the spectrum is -19.1 (apparent magnitude 17.9). This absolute magnitude and velocity is consistent with an SN Ia approaching maximum light. 2024TNSCR3794....1N
