Group: None
Claudio Balcon (Belluno A.O. ISSP) report/s a classification of object: SN 2024we
Type: SN IaRedshift: 0.032
Remarks: The low S/N spectrum is contaminated by the host galaxy. DASH (Muthukrishna et al., 2019, ApJ, 885, 85) suggests that this spectrum resembles that of a type la supernova at the redshift of the host galaxy, value from NED.
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2024-01-11 18:03:00
Instrument: Other
Telescope: Other
Remarks: We obtained the low-resolution spectrum using the FOSC-E5535 spectrograph attached to a 0.41m telescope, in the course of Italian Supernovae Search Project.
Details of the object and its spectra can be viewed here: https://www.wis-tns.org/object/2024we
