Group: OxQUB
S. Srivastav (Oxford), M. Fulton, M. Nicholl, C. R. Angus, K. W. Smith, D. R. Young, A. Aamer, D. Magill, T. Moore, X. Sheng, S. A. Sim (QUB), S. J. Smartt (Oxford/QUB), J. H. Gillanders, H. F. Stevance (Oxford), T.-W. Chen (NCU) report/s a classification of object: SN 2025abdd
Type: SN IcRedshift: 0.01
Remarks: Low S/N spectrum shows good matches with normal Ic supernovae around peak (from snid-sage). No available host redshift, we tentatively assign z = 0.01 based on spectral matches and peak luminosity of around -17 at this distance.
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2025-11-02 01:20:21
Instrument: SPRAT
Telescope: Liverpool Telescope
Remarks: quick-look extraction from LT pipeline
