Date Received (UTC): 2025-11-20 09:41:23 Sender: Sara Faris
Group: None
Sara Faris (TAU), Hugo Tranin (UB), Moira Andrews(Las Cumbres), Iair Arcavi (TAU) report/s a classification of object: SN 2025adjc
Type: SN IaRedshift: 0.028563
Remarks: Using SNID-SAGE (Stoppa et al., in prep.), we find that the heavily host-contaminated spectrum of AT 2025adjc is best matched by a late-phase Type Ia SN at the host galaxy redshift z = 0.028563 (from NED; da Costa et al. 1998, AJ, 116, 1), which is consistent with the observed narrow Ca II H&K absorption in the spectrum.
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2025-11-18 12:56:05
Instrument: FLOYDS-S
Telescope: Faulkes Telescope South
