Type: SN IaRedshift: 0.056
Remarks: We classify the supernova SN 2025adrr based on a spectrum obtained on JD 2460997.5 with the HFOSC instrument mounted on the 2 m Himalayan Chandra Telescope (HCT) at IAO, Hanle. Using the Supernova Identification tool (SNID), we find the best matches to a pre-maximum Type Ia SN with a redshift of ~ 0.056. The host-galaxy redshift, measured from the H-alpha emission line visible in the spectra, is z ~ 0.054.
