Grace Katusiime, Nadejda Blagorodnova Mujortova report/s a classification of object: SN 2025aewb
Type: SN IIPRedshift: 0.012523
Remarks: The spectrum shows very broad H-alpha emission. Spectral classification with SNID favors a Type II-P supernova at redshift z = 0.012523, with the best-matching template being SN 2017pn (epoch 24.0 days). We therefore classify 2025aewb as a Type II-P supernova.
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2025-12-09 18:49:14
Instrument: CAFOS
Telescope: Calar Alto 2.2m Telescope
Remarks: The spectra of ZTF25aceicse/2025aewb were obtained on 2025-12-09T18:49:14 UT with the low-resolution CAFOS instrument mounted on the 2.2 m telescope at Calar Alto Observatory. Two 1350s observations were made with the G-200 grism. The data reduction was done using a custom developed CAFOS pipeline. We performed flux calibration using the standard star BD+28_4211.
