P. Ochner (UniPd), V. Andreoli (UniTn), A. Reguitti (INAF-OAPd), C. Balcon (ISSP), A. Farina (UniPd) report/s a classification of object: AT 2025axj

Type: CV

Remarks: The low resolution spectrum shows a blue continuum with emissions of Hα (FWHM 800 km/s) and Hβ (FWHM 900 km/s) caused by the accretion disk. The other Balmer lines are present in absorption (white dwarf component) with a weak emission at the center of the peak (disk component). Our spectrum also shows He I (5875, 6678, 7065 Å) and He II (4686 Å) lines. These characteristics are typical of CV stars, and we propose to classify 2025axj as a CV star. Observations were performed during the QTech meeting.
