Type: SN IaRedshift: 0.169
Remarks: Using SNID, the spectrum matches well several normal rising type-Ia supernovae at z = 0.18 +/- 0.01, 7 days before peak. The slit in our observation was oriented to cover as well the bright galaxy 5.3” NW of this source. We detect several emission lines which we identify Halpha, Hbeta, [O III] and [O II] at a common redshift of z = 0.169. With a 15 kpc projected separation, this galaxy is thus a plausible host of AT 2025kmd/GOTO25cqo.
