TNS Classification Report No. 20196 [ 2025TNSCR.244....1B ]
Date Received (UTC): 2025-01-18 23:01:07 Sender: Claudio Balcon
Group: None
Claudio Balcon (Belluno A.O. ISSP) report/s a classification of object: SN 2025kw
Type: SN IaRedshift: 0.04
Remarks: GELATO (Harutyunyan et al., 2008, A&A, 488, 383) suggests that this low S/N spectrum resembles that of a type Ia supernova. The redshift has been deduced from the SN spectral fitting.
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2025-01-18 20:33:00
Instrument: Other
Telescope: Other
Remarks: We obtained the low-resolution spectrum R~100 using the FOSC-E5535 spectrograph attached to a 0.41m telescope, in the course of Italian Supernovae Search Project.
Details of the object and its spectra can be viewed here: https://www.wis-tns.org/object/2025kw
