Emmanuel Soubrouillard, Robin Leadbeater report/s a classification of object: AT 2025mka
Type: CV
Remarks: The spectrum shows a featureless blue continuum except for a broad absorption at the H delta rest wavelength. The object is collocated (within <1 arcsec) with AT2018ltl, previously classified as a CV. Igor Andreoni et al 2020 ApJ 904 155 There is a faint stellar object at this location in the PanSTARRS reference image. We therefore consider it likely to be an outburst of CV AT2028ltl
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2025-05-30 21:34:37
Instrument: Other
Telescope: Other
Remarks: Spectrum taken by Emmanuel Soubrouillard using an ALPY200 grism slit spectrograph (R~130) and a 0.3m aperture telescope
