M. Pursiainen, T. Killestein, B. Warwick, K. Ackley, M. Dyer, F. Jiménez-Ibarra, J. Lyman, K. Ulaczyk, D. Steeghs, D. Galloway, V. Dhillon, P. O'Brien, G. Ramsay, K. Noysena, R. Kotak, R. Breton, L. Nuttall, E. Pallé, D. Pollacco, A. Kumar,, D. O'Neill on behalf of GOTO collaboration report/s a classification of object: SN 2025mq
Type: SN IaRedshift: 0.046
Remarks: We find good template matches to Type Ia SNe at redshift of about 0.046. In absence of obvious host lines, we adopt the template redshift. We note that the SN shows significant early excess in the ATLAS light curve.
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2025-01-28 03:38:33
Instrument: SPRAT
Telescope: Liverpool Telescope
