Group: Global SN Project
Joseph Farah (LCO/UCSB), Moira Andrew, D. Andrew Howell, Curtis McCully, Yuan Qi Ni, Kathryn Wynn report/s a classification of object: SN 2025nat
Type: SN IIRedshift: 0.02466
Remarks: Using SNID (Blondin & Tonry 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024), we find best fits to SNe II at early phases. The supernova is associated with host NGC 4475 (z = 0.024660, 1998A&AS..130..333T; value from NED). This redshift is well-matched by narrow host hydrogen and helium emission lines. Further followup is encouraged.
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2025-06-08 07:29:44
Instrument: FLOYDS-N
