TNS Classification Report No. 21299 [ 2025TNSCR2220....1B ]
Date Received (UTC): 2025-06-14 00:10:26 Sender: Claudio Balcon
Group: None
Claudio Balcon (Belluno A.O. ISSP) report/s a classification of object: SN 2025ndx
Type: SN IaRedshift: 0.036713
Remarks: Using GELATO (Harutyunyan et al., 2008, A&A, 488, 383; (gelato@tng.iac.es)), we find that the spectrum resembles that of a Type Ia supernova at the redshift of the host galaxy. However, the original spectrum is contaminated by the nucleus of the host galaxy. To obtain the spectrum of the transient, we subtracted the spectrum of the nucleus (SDSS ID 682361628800346112) from the original one.
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2025-06-13 22:06:00
Instrument: FOSC-E5535
Telescope: Belluno Telescope
Details of the object and its spectra can be viewed here: https://www.wis-tns.org/object/2025ndx
