Date Received (UTC): 2025-07-04 11:35:09 Sender: Sara Faris
Group: StarDestroyers
Sara Faris, Iair Arcavi (TAU), and Kathryn Wynn (Las Cumbres). report/s a classification of object: SN 2025obr
Type: SN IaRedshift: 0.06
Remarks: We find the best-fit template of the obtained spectrum corresponds to a Type Ia supernova at a redshift of z = 0.06. The spectrum shows strong similarity to normal SNe Ia at this redshift. The closest galaxy is SDSS J165949.42+740410.5, which we suggest as the likely host.
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2025-07-03 00:00:00
