Type: SN II
Redshift: 0.03

Remarks: The spectrum displays broad P Cygni profiles of hydrogen, along with normal metal-line blanketing at bluer wavelengths, indicating this is a Type II supernova a few weeks after explosion. GELATO finds a good match with the spectrum 1995ad at a phase of 12 days post explosion -- which phase is a week younger than what is suggested by the ATLAS light curve. The redshift is estimated to be z = 0.03 based on the template matching.
