Type: SN II
Redshift: 0.038

Remarks: Strong host galaxy contamination. The spectrum shows a broad H alpha profile, indicating it to be Type II supernova, about 10 days after explosion. The redshift was taken from SDSS, and was verified by the host galaxy narrow emission lines seen in the spectrum.
