Date Received (UTC): 2025-07-16 16:48:34 Sender: Regis Cartier
Group: None
E. Hueichapan (UDP), R. Cartier (CITEVA), J. L. Prieto (UDP) report/s a classification of object: SN 2025qsn
Type: SN
Remarks: Young SN spectrum showing blue continuum and broad wiggles. No clear SN type and redshift. A narrow feature at 6784.3 A could be due to Halpha, thus the potential SN redshift is ~ 0.034. At this redshift the SN maximum absolute magnitude will be brighter than -18 mag.
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2025-07-15 01:32:10
Instrument: LDSS-3
Telescope: Landon T. Clay Magellan 6.5-m telescope (LCO)
Details of the object and its spectra can be viewed here: https://www.wis-tns.org/object/2025qsn
